HELLO, I'M EMILY

I’m a freelance interior stylist, writer and craft designer, based in London.

With over 11 years working in print and online publishing, I understand exactly what is needed to create beautiful and inspiring features, no matter how tight the deadline or how small the budget. I'm a perfectionist at heart and I take pride in every single piece of work I produce, from the smallest detail to the bigger picture.

Ever since I was little, I have always been creative with a good eye for design. I am proud to have studied my Art Foundation at Kingston University and gained a BA Hons in Illustration & Communication Arts at the prestigious Brighton University.

My passion for creativity led me into the wonderful work of Publishing, where I have worked for titles including Woman’s Weekly, Woman & Home, The Craft Network and Style at Home.

I love to teach, whether I’m in front of a camera or a room full of people. I have hosted workshops and presented online tutorials for a number of clients, including Heals, Paperchase, Hobbycraft, Macmillan Cancer Support, Good to Know and housetohome.co.uk.

I am in my element creating crafts, meeting new people and teaching others creative skills. Papercraft is my main skill, but I can also teach painting and illustration, calligraphy and brush lettering, as well as candle making, gold leaf, kids crafts and simple sewing and various printing techniques. I have my first craft book coming out in 2018 with Search Press, called Paper Christmas.

No job is too big or too small. So whether you are looking for a interior stylist, feature writer, workshop teacher - I do corporate as well as launches, events and parties - or a hands on 'do-er' with bundles of ideas, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
